Job Description:
AMI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher. AMI offers a team oriented environment, family culture, competitive salary, overtime potential, and paid time off.
The Concrete Finisher leads and performs job activities related to the pouring of concrete surfaces, such as sidewalks, curbs, pads, etc. The role is best suited for a team player with a positive attitude who is action-oriented, has good physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

Follow all safety and company policies.

Read and implement architectural plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.) to ensure the pour is correct and calculate materials needed.

Create patterns, forms, or foundations according to work order and inspect finished surfaces for needed repairs.

Set forms, assist with setting string line, oversee concrete pour, and spread concrete to level.

Finishing top surfaces with the use of relevant tools and water to arrive at the desired texture.

Work alongside crew members and assist in all capacities of applications and instruct crew members in a profession manner in order to relay expectations and instill motivation.

Work with management team to stay updated on project knowledge and be informed of any changes.

Respond to internal and external requests and provide high quality support to customers and colleagues.

Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every contact.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:
-
Ability to operate a Curb Machine and Skid Steer preferred.

Proficiency with industry tools and equipment.
-
Minimum two years construction experience preferred.

Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
